On Everything..:DOn Portfolio:Compiling a Portfolio for uni applications, is a bugger.. I spent the whole afternoon yesterday digging out my old art work and took pictures of them. Thinking back.. I was such a geek in Year 11 doing Art.. I don't think I had much of a social life..I mean.. my weekends were like ART ART ART.. and nothing else.. but oh well.. at least its put into good use now , together with my AS DT work..:D
Looking back, I wonder How I managed to survive a full day at school with 10 subjects, cos right now.. I dont think I can live without at least ONE free a day..and even then..I dislike Tuesdays and Wednesdays because they are the days that I only get ONE free.. This comment may get me shot down by the current year 11s.. but..hey when you get to 6th form, you'll know its true..
Seeing how I can be such a perfectionist(over the most useless things usually, i.e. The pavements outside school, I'd rather take the stairs than walk there merely because the pavements are uneven and not in perfect order..and of course, its hard to balance on heels:P), I have decided to add ONE major piece of art to the portfolio just to blow the people looking at it away.. but I need a theme. Was thinking about taking "Rockstar" as a theme..what do you think? Although I have a strange feeling that it will go towards the direction of putting JD Fortune(INXS) somewhere in it.. Sad huh.. but yeah.. Give me other ideas , it'll help.. but if you plan to tell me things like Anime art.. I'll just reject it.. cos.. eew.. I don't even know how some people can think Anime characters are hot..its so wrongg..yuckkk..Gross out!
On Movies:Am waiting for Zi to locate her Wicker Park DVD.. So I can finish this soppy movie.. Am also trying to locate someone who owns Take the Lead.. cos I haven't yet finished it after twice watching it.I watched Star Wars Empire Strikes Back last night.. quite impressed by the effects they had at the time.. will be waiting for Return of the Jedi next week. *geek alert* BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS.. I WANT TO WATCH THE GUARDIAN(cos the trailer was wayy cool, and it was even more convincing with Snow Patrol's music as background)..So if you haven't and you plan to..tell me..I'll come :D
On my physical health condition:I'm currently recovering from this dumbshit skin disorder caused by the virus lying dormant in my nerves after chickenpox (yes, I can be scientifically bright at times, eventhough I dislike it), and well all the side effects that come along with it.. fever, sore throat..stuff like that, so I'm not looking my best. Furthermore..I woke up with bed hair that resembles the hairstyle of a punk/emo ..so yeah..abnormal look.
Due to this unfortunate virus that decides to not lie dormant in my nerves anymore, I have to be on a strict diet of..no seafood,anyform of poultry, eggs,beef,lamb...which leaves me with pork, fruits and vegetables. And seeing how we live in a country where "halal" is an importance..it means I am to be somewhat a vegetarian for the next two weeks.. grr.
On Other Useless facts:James Blunt's "Goodbye My Lover" is the highest rated track..For Funerals..I found that hilarious.. but if you didn't then.. yeah get used to my sense of humour.
